Non-isothermal crystallization of polyester-functionalized carbon nanotubes

摘要: 以己二酸,1,3-丙二醇和羟基碳纳米管为原料,钛酸丁酯为催化剂,采用原位聚合法制备了聚己二酸-1,3-丙二醇酯功能化羟基碳纳米管(PHHCNTs)。经热重分析(TG)结果计算发现,接枝到羟基碳纳米管表面上的聚酯链的链长随催化剂质量分数的增加而减小。利用差热扫描量热仪(DSC)研究了催化剂对PHHCNTs熔融和非等温结晶行为的影响,结晶温度随催化剂质量分数的增加而升高,随降温速率增加而降低;并且催化剂质量分数越高,PHHCNTs的过冷度越低。Jeziorny法可以很准确地描述PHHCNTs的非等温结晶过程。

Abstract: A series of poly(1,3-propylene glycol-hexanedioic acid)-functionalized hydroxyl carbon nanotubes(PHHCNTs) were prepared byin situpolymerization using hydroxyl carbon nanotubes(MWNT-OH),1,3-propylene glycol and hexanedioic acid as reactants and butyl titanate as catalyst.Thermogravimetry analysis results show that the polyester chain length grafted onto to CNTs decreases with increasing catalyst contents.The melting and non-isothermal crystallization behaviors of PHHCNTs were examined using differential scanning calorimetry(DSC).The crystallizing temperatures of PHHCNTs decrease with increasing cooling rate for a given catalyst content and increase with catalyst content for a given cooling rate.The higher the catalyst content,the lower the degree of supercooling of crystallization of PHHCNTs.Jeziorny method accurately describes the non-isothermal crystallization processes of PHHCNTs.
