Abstract: The paper analyzes the main reasons causing slow development of clothing materials and rare emergence of wonderful dress design in our country.It explains the relationship between clothing materials and social culture tendency starting from the generation and development history of specific materials including several natural fibers,discusses culture expression of clothing materials in different social stages,and expounds the culture composition of natural fibers for clothing with stress on cultural connotation when designing,manufacturing and selecting of clothing materials so as to make innovation of fashion garments.
