Abstract: A VI-based novel method for testing looms' warp tension was introduced.The properties of multiple looms were tested.Results indicate that the method has many merits such as simple,quick t o build system,accurate,friendly interface,which contrasts with the conventional resistance-strain instrument testing and other methods.
