Abstract: Study on the impact property of the silicone rubber filled warp knitted spacer fabric. The warp knitted spacer fabric has the 3D spacer structure; the outer layer structure is the hexagonal meshes, which have large spacer. The A and B silicone rubber are mixed together, and then fill to the spacer fabric to make the composite with different filled rate. The Instron 9250 Drop Tower Impact Testers was used to test the impact properties. The result indicated that the stiffness and load bearing of silicone rubber filled fabric was increased, the displacement was decreased, and the peak force was also decreased. Additionally, the 50% filled fabric has the better cushion property and air permeability than the 100% filled fabric.
