Abstract: A double-terminated acrylamide-propyl polysiloxane (diAAp-PDMS) or a double-terminated acryloyloxy-propyl polysiloxane (diAOp-PDMS) were synthesized via acylation reaction by acryloyl chloride and double terminated amino-propyl polysiloxane or double terminated hydroxy-propyl polysiloxane resectively, and applied in preparing for modified polyacrylate latex. Influence of synthetic factors on the synthetic yield were researched respectively, the synthetic yield and the properties of two kinds of silicon-modified polyacrylate latex film and their pigment printing were measured and compared with each other. The result showed that the reactivity of double terminated amino-propyl polysiloxane was higher than that of double terminated hydroxy-propyl polysiloxane obviously when being reacted with acryloyl chloride. Relative to the diAOp-PDMS, the synthetic yield of diAAp-PDMS was higher, the hydrophobicity of diAAp-PDMS modified polyacrylate latex film was higher; the breaking tenacity of diAAp-PDMS modified latex film was lower and its breaking extension was bigger, the work of break of modified latex film was bigger slightly. The colorfastness to crocking (dry and wet) of the diAAp-PDMS modified polyacrylate latex pigment printed fabric reached rating 4 or above, and its handle become softer, the pigment printing behavior of the diAAp-PDMS modified polyacrylate latex was superior to that of diAOp-PDMS generally.
