Model of spinning yarn quality

Abstract: Based on studying articles on relationships between the raw cotton property and the quality of spinning yarns,researchers suggest that the Integrated Cotton Fiber-quality Index(IFQI) is an integrated expression of cotton fiber property and quality.It can estimate the quality of raw cotton and spinning yarns,and servers as an intermediate parameter for spinning yarn strength prediction and an index which is directly proportional to the spinning strength.The model of IFQI based on the experimental data of yarn spinning has advantages of explicit mechanism,few independent variables,and simplicity.
