熔喷非织造衣架型模头中聚合物流动数值模拟

Numerical simulation of polymer flow in the coat-hanger die of melt blown process

摘要: 熔喷非织造设备中聚合物熔体分配流道主要采用衣架型模头,衣架型模头的设计对于熔体分配的均匀性乃至最终产品的均匀性至关重要。采用二维有限元方法对熔喷非织造衣架型模头中聚合物的流动进行了数值模拟,研究了衣架型模头的几何参数和流体特性对速度场的影响。结果表明:随着歧管倾斜角度和成型面高度的增大,模头出口处流率分布的均匀性逐渐提高;模头出口处流率分布还受流体幂律指数的影响,即针对某一幂律指数设计的衣架型模头,无论幂律指数增大还是减小,模头出口处流率分布的均匀性都将趋于恶化。

Abstract: Coat-hanger die is usually used as the polymer melt distributor of the melt-blown nonwoven system.The design of the coat-hanger die is of significant importance for the polymer melt distribution across the die and the quality of the final product.The two-dimensional finite element method is used to simulate the flow of the polymer fluid in the coat-hanger die of melt-blown nonwoven process.The effects of the geometrical parameters of the die and the property of the polymer fluid on the flow distribution at the outlet are studied.The results indicate that the flow distribution at the outlet is improved with the increase of the manifold angle and the land height.And the flow distribution at the outlet depends on the power-law index.Whether the power-law index increases or decreases,the flow distribution at the die outlet tends to deteriorate.
