Abstract: Centering on the topic of fabric style design based on garments,discussed the relationship between the transformation of clothing and the development of the apparel fabric and pointed out that the concept of fabric design should be adaptable to the progress of social culture and the production techniques of fabric should meet the changing requirements of consumers in respect to garments.Creative thought is the motivity of the development of fabric material,and creative designing is the key to success.Innovation and development of fabric are basic foundations for upgrading of garments,and accelerate introduction of fashion and revolution of consumption.In turn,the innovation of garments gives an impetus to upgrading of fabrics.
