Processing stainless steel staple fiber/cotton yarn on cotton spinning system

摘要: 根据金属纤维的性能,采用与不锈钢短纤维伸长相对差异较小的棉纤维混纺,使用棉纺普梳设备,对纺纱过程中的工艺参数进行了调整。结果表明,在棉纺设备上纺金属纤维/棉混纺纱是可行的。虽然金属纤维强力较高,但因为其伸长太小,所以制成率较低,只有70%,金属纤维损伤也较严重。

Abstract: Based on the properties of the stainless steel staple fiber,mixed it with cotton fiber since their elongations are similar.The cotton spinning system was used with processing process adjusted to adapt to the particularity of the fibers.The experiment results indicated that it is feasible to spin the stainless steel staple fiber/cotton yarn on a cotton spinning system.However,being high tenacity but low elongation,the stainless steel staple fibers are damaged seriously and have as low as a 70% finished product rate.
