Mechanism of nanosized size-additive used in warp sizing

摘要: 为了改善淀粉的上浆性能,减少PVA浆料的用量,可在淀粉浆液中加入纳米级无机浆料添加剂。采用扫描电子显微镜、原子力显微镜和傅里叶变换衰减全反射红外光谱对纳米级无机浆料添加剂的作用机制进行了研究。结果表明:纳米级无机浆料添加剂能显著改善淀粉浆膜表面和断裂截面以及浆纱表面的平滑性和均匀性;纳米级无机浆料添加剂和淀粉之间存在较强的氢键作用,这一作用可能与纳米氧化物表面丰富的羟基有关。

Abstract: In order to improve the sizing performance of starch sizes and decrease the dosage of PVA,nanosized inorganic size additives can be used in the formulation of starch solution.In the present work,the mechanism of nanosized inorganic size additive used in warp sizing was investigated by using SEM,AFM and FT-IR ATR.The results showed that the nanoparticulates can improve the smoothness and uniformity of starch size film and broken cross-section as well as the surface of sized warp yarns.Substantive hydrogen bonds between the nanoparticulates and starch molecules exist,which may be attributed to the enriched hydroxide groups on the surface of nanosized oxides.
