Abstract: Bra is a kind of close fitted apparel for women. The development of bra patternmaking is important for the improvement of function and comfort. Basic bra pattern, bra part pattern and factors to bra pattern were reviewed in this paper. The current situation and weakness of bra pattern design method was analyzed, as well as two factors to bra pattern design method. Then the trend of bra pattern design method was discussed. The research result is useful for the development of bra pattern design method.
