Abstract: As an important feature of the holidays, the festival costume’s colors reflect the spirit of the nation; it is also one of the festival important symbols. In the meantime, Chinese people represent their appreciation to festival, the ideal and belief of praying for a better life by the national costume’s color decoration. The impact and contact of Chinese culture and heterogeneous culture bring the colorful and gorgeous color application, at the same time, and Chinese textile technology’s development and national culture’s splendid achieve the Chinese national costume’s verve and mien, and contribute to the appropriate relation between the Chinese traditional festivals and clothing.
