Abstract: A new type of warm-retaining clothes with molecular sieve adsorbent material as fill was described. Its feature lies in that the molecular sieve material adsorbs the moisture from the human body and the moisture in the air and then releases heat.Through experiments and analysis of three samples of molecular sieve material,a suitable one was selected, and the warm-retaining wear was designed. It has demonstrated that the ball type molecular sieve with a diameter of 4.0 mm is fit for this application. When the adsorbent is 1 kg at the temperature of(-20 ℃) and the relative humidity of 75% in winter,a person wearing this clothes and walking at a speed above 3.2 km/h can be kept warm for 4 hours.
