Area ease distribution relationship between the body and garment

Abstract: In accordance with the clouds data of the standard body and various garment sizes of a specific style using the 3-D scanner,the curves of the cross sections of different parts are fitted using least square method and cubic polynomial functions,the co-ordinations of points that divide curve by even arc length are calculated,algorithm model of the area ease between the body and garment is built.This article discusses the distribution relationship of area ease between the body and garment as changing with body angles and exposes the change rule of vacant area between the body and garment.It has provided the real ease distribution relationship between the body and garment for the garment manufacturing sector,realized objective evaluation of the differences of garment appearance,improved the fit of garment,and offered a testing standard for checking the effect of 3-D simulation of the garment.
