Empirical rsearch on job burnout of knowledge employees in textile and apparel industry

Abstract: Nowadays, the issue on job burnout of occupation employees is rising greatly in china, and in correspondent to the situation, This paper carried an empirical research based on the investigation sample of knowledge employees from textile and apparel industry .The purpose of the paper is to discover the level of job burnout, so proper intervention strategies can be adopted by enterprises. The first process was to establish the dimensions of research variable on the base of interview and literature review, then data was collected through a questionnaire survey, and statistics analysis was used. Results indicated that the level of job burnout was not very high among knowledge employees from textile and apparel industry, but there were significantly different characteristics when considering the demographic variables of age, gender and education background etc. Practical strategies for enterprises were proposed accordingly.
