Abstract: The Nantong blue printed cloth is one of our country folk traditional processes, she by its plain simple and elegant, contains exquisitely in, is full of the rich rural customs public sentiment to have the unique fine reputation in the material cultural history. Through traces the Nantong blue printed cloth in each historical period development, points out it in aspect and so on dyeing craft, grain type modeling evolutionary processes. From the Nantong blue printed cloth in the past as well as the present management, survival state analysis obtaining, pointed out only has the tradition and the modern union, can cause the traditional process culture to glow the new vitality. And take this as the standpoint, through with other representative local blue printed cloth present situation analysis, pointed out the Nantong blue printed cloth the superiority which in raw material、 the region、 design idea、 production management、industrial chain aspects and so on formation has.
