Exploration of electret property of area bonded ES-fiber fabric

Abstract: In this article, ES-fiber through-air nonwovens of different fiber fineness and surface density were processed with corona charge. Then analysis the electret property by comparing the filtration efficiency before and after the charge. In addition, the authors analysis the rate of the surface-voltage decay by comparing with that of PP melt-blown nonwovens. Here's the conclusion: the ES-fiber through-air nonwovens of finer fibers and larger surface density exhibit better electret property, and the rate of decay is faster in 60s but slower in long-time comparing to the PP's.
