Abstract:

The acid cellulase was used to treat the undyed cotton knitting fabric and dyed with C.I. sulfur black 1, the hairiness removal percentage, weight loss of the fabric, the cellulase adsorption on the fabric and the reducing sugar in the residue were determined to explore the interaction between cellulase and fabric and set up kinetic equation. As a result, dyes existed in fabric promoted the adsorption of cellulase to the fabric, declined the hairiness removal percentage; the closed Michaelis constant Km value of dyed fabric 51.81 and undyed fabric 49.97 obtained, however, the maximum velocity Vmax of undyed fabric being almost 10 times of dyed fabric.
