Abstract:

In this paper, polyamide(PA6) nanofiber membranes were manufactured by a needleless electrospinning equipment using spiral coil spinnerets. Effects of electrospun parameters on the morphology and structure of PA6 nanofiber membranes were studies. The results showed that the nanofiber diameters of the PA6 membranes decreased with the increase of the spinning voltage, while they increased with increasing the spinning distance, but they appeared a fluctuating trend when the rotation speed of the spiral coil spinnerets were turned larger. However, the uniformities of the nanofiber diameters nearly had no change when the above three parameters were varied. The optimal electrospinning parameters were obtained by a three factors and three levels orthogonal experiment: the spinning voltage of 70~80 kV, the spinning distance of 185mm, and the spinnerets rotation speed of 8 r/min, and the diameter and CV% of the as-spun nanofiber were 163 nm and 26%, respectively. Meanwhile, the influence of the spunbond polypropylene(PP)nonwoven substrate pretreated by plasma on the adhesion of the PA6/PP composite membrane was also investigated. The results showed that the peeling energy of the specimen using the substrate pretreated by plasma of 80w for 30s was 2.82 times than that of the untreated specimen, while the maximum peeling strength increased by 1.97 times.
