Abstract: The effects of feeding way of phosphorus pentoxide , ratio of C8H17 ( EO) 4OH to P2O5 , reaction temperature and time on the synthesized isooctanol polyethenoxy ether phosphate were investigated. Its optimum synthesis technology conditions were as follows : feeding at batches while stirring tempestuously at 45 ℃, the ratio of n (C8 H17 (EO) 4OH) ∶n (P2O5 ) = 2∶1 ,esterifying at 70 ℃for 4 h , and add given volume of water at 70 ℃for hydrolysing 2 h. The experimental results indicated that the isooctanol polyethenoxy ether phosphate synthesized under the optimum process conditions has good resistance to strong alkali penetration , whose penetration time is 4 s when its mass concentration is 200 gPL in sodium hydroxide solution
