Effect of fabric structure parameters on its heat transfer property

Abstract: The influences of structure parameters such as thickness,average float,and cover factor on the heat transfer of the fabric were investigated.By means of correlation analysis,the rule of the heat transfer varying with fabric structure parameters was attained.The CLO value of the fabric increases with fabric thickness,but when reaching to a certain extent,its increase margin drops.The larger the average float,the greater the CLO value,its increase margin also drops.However,instead of increasing the CLO value,too large an average float makes CLO value downwards.Increasing fabric cover decreases the CLO value,but increases the heat transfer.Contrarily,decreasing fabric cover factor increases the CLO value,but decreases the heat transfer accordingly.
