Analysis of ancient Egypt woven and dyed fabrics

Abstract: This paper introduced Egypt excavated Copt textile interwoven with flax and wool,and wax resist printed linen fabric manufactured in early days A.D. and the Middle Ancient Times as well as textile cultural relics originated from India or other places,analyzed the development of ancient Egypt weaving and dyeing in connection with the politics,economic,religion and culture at that time,described the main kinds of textile made of ancient Egypt and from overseas and their craftsmanship along with their influence on religious and social areas at different historical periods at ancient Egypt.At the same time,the prosperity of textile trade also reflected the social and economical conditions.So it may be summed up that the level of textile design and its weaving and dyeing can′t divorce from the objective reality of social environments.
