Abstract:

The embroidered trademark made by luminous fiber has the characteristics of emitting light in the absence of light, which increases the identification capability of the trademark on the night. Four different types of luminous trademarks were designed using the Wilcom plate software and Fuyi computer-aided embroidery machine. The afterglow brightness and light color of these trademarks were compared. This research showed that the color of the fiber has a direct effect on the light brightness of luminous fiber on the night. Without the light, each light color of colored luminous fibers is similar, and the luminous fiber emits the yellow-green light. In comparison with traditional embroidery, the trademark made by the overplated skill bas stronger afterglow brighness and radiance and little light color changed, but the color purity declined. Thus, the trademark made by white color fiber has maximum brightness, and the best color performance. Therefore, it is optimum to choose white luminous fibers for embroidering trademark.
