Abstract: The relation between sharpness of chemical fiber cutter blade and the radius of the edge has been investigated. The results show that edge radius of the cutter blade is the main factor affecting its sharpness. The cutter blade sharpness decreases and the force to cut fiber increases with the increase of its edge radius. Showing a linear relationship between both.
