Abstract: The Sylvester resultant-eliminant method of mechanism synthesis was introduced.The universal programming was complied with Maple 7.0 language combining the characteristic of non-linear equations of mechanics and a uni-variable equation with four degrees is obtained and so on the symbolic solutions.A example was given and a new solution was found.
