Abstract: Orthogonal test , variance analysis and analytic hierarchy process were used to analyze the construction and process parameters of biodegradable PLAPj ute multi2layer composites with a view to understanding the effect of process parameters on their mechanical properties. Six main factors such as proportion of PLAPj ute fiber , layers of the composite , jute fiber direction , heating temperature , pressure and time , were studied. The results showed that heating temperature , jute fiber direction and proportion of PLAP jute fiber have notable effect on mechanical prperties. Layers and heating time have effect on some items , and pressure has little effect . The optimum process parameters are suggested.
