Abstract: The analysis of composites tensile process conduced to looking into the weak points and conditions of each point upon which force is being exerted on the composite products. It could be good theoretical reference for assessing and predicting the property of composites. In this article , finite element analysis method was used to simulate the tensile process of thermoplastic composites through programming on the computer. The tensile problem was simplified in two dimensions due to the small thickness of laminates. The force on each node was analyzed and calculated through meshing the model into elements and applying constraints and loads on the nodes. The maximal stress point and the contour plots of the model were compared with deformed specimen in tensile tests. It is found that there is a good match on damaged areas between the simulated model and experimental specimen.
