Abstract: To avoid the influence bring about by the traditional temperature sensor when detecting the heat transfer on the surface of fabric,a new method using infrared camera was developed to non-contact measuring fabric surface temperature without disturbing fabric surface status. It was used in this paper to investigate the heat and moisture coupling transfer characteristics in fabrics of new regenerated fiber material—soybean protein fiber,Modal and so on.The results indicated that soybean protein fiber,Modal and their mixed fabrics had similar interaction of coupled heat and moisture transfer in textiles.Through clustering analysis of varied temperature parameters of fabrics,it indicated that theKSandΔTmaxwere right indexes to evaluate interaction of coupled heat and moisture transfer.AndKSdescribe ascended velocity of moisture heat temperature;ΔTmax is the biggest gap between dry heat temperature and moisture heat temperature of fabrics.
