      A series of poly(1,3-propylene glycol-hexanedioic acid)-functionalized hydroxyl carbon nanotubes(PHHCNTs) were prepared byin situpolymerization using hydroxyl carbon nanotubes(MWNT-OH),1,3-propylene glycol and hexanedioic acid as reactants and butyl titanate as catalyst.Thermogravimetry analysis results show that the polyester chain length grafted onto to CNTs decreases with increasing catalyst contents.The melting and non-isothermal crystallization behaviors of PHHCNTs were examined using differential scanning calorimetry(DSC).The crystallizing temperatures of PHHCNTs decrease with increasing cooling rate for a given catalyst content and increase with catalyst content for a given cooling rate.The higher the catalyst content,the lower the degree of supercooling of crystallization of PHHCNTs.Jeziorny method accurately describes the non-isothermal crystallization processes of PHHCNTs.
      Microstructures and mechanical properties of silk fibroin fibers after soil-burial biodegradation

      The silk fibroin fibers buried in soil for several months were measured and analyzed in surface shape,crystal structure,molecular conformation and mechanical properties,and compared with polyester fibers.The results revealed that there were some delves in the surface of silk fibroin fibers buried in soil for above two months,and the numbers and sizes of delves increased with burial time.After being buried in soil for 6 months,the strength and strain at break of silk fibers decreased to about 10% of a control sample′s,and the fibers were completely degraded when burial time was 9 months.The crystallinity of biodegraded silk in soil was almost unchanged,however,the molecules tended to beαhelix and random coil structures.

      Study on oxidizing cotton fiber to oxycellulose by sodium periodate solution was carried out,and FT-IR,XPS were used to analyze the micromechanism of oxidized cotton fiber and the oxidized cotton fiber treated by fibroin solution.It was indicated that dialdehyde cellulose was gained after oxidizing,the aldehyde was increased,hydroxy and hydrogen bond was decreased and the cellulose molecule was degraded during oxidizing;imine covalence formed between aldehyde group and amido when oxidized cotton fiber was treated by fibroin solution.

      Thermal degradation behavior and kinetics of cotton fiber were investigated by thermogravimetric analysis(TG) and differential thermogravimetric(DTG) at different heating rates under highly purity N2.The thermal degradation kinetic parameters of cotton fiber were determined using Flynn-Wall-Ozawa and Coast-Redfern methods,which established its kinetic equation and isothermal kinetic model of the major degradation process through selecting different thermal degradation mechanisms.The model obtained could describe the decomposition behaviour of cotton fiber.The results indicated that the main thermal degradation process probably generated chemical reaction from amorphous region to crystalline field.The major kinetic mechanism model was described as a diffusion-controlled process via one-dimensional diffusion.The thermal degradation velocity of cotton fiber was mainly depended on temperature and degree of decomposition,which increased with the increase of temperature and decrease of degree of decomposition.

      Single fiber of Mao bamboo was extracted by chemical method.Its morphology,microfiber structure and crystalline structure were investigated and compared with those of cotton and flax and ramie fibers by optical microscopy,scanning electron microscope and X-ray diffraction analysis.The investigation showed that bamboo fiber is long cylindrical and uniform in size with distinct nodes,which is similar to flax and ramie fibers,however its length is far less than that of cotton,ramie and flax fibers.Bamboo fiber has a small orientation angle for the exterior microfibers,which are parallel to fiber axis approximately.The structure of concentric lamina in cross section of bamboo fiber had been observed by SEM.The result of X-ray diffraction analysis indicated that crystallinity and orientation of bamboo fibers were similar to those of ramie fibers,and more than those of cotton and flax fibers,in addition,crystallite size of bamboo fiber was biggest among the four fibers.The allomorph in bamboo fibers was determined as I-βdominant type.

      A series of unifactor experiments concerning several parameters of filaments and texturing had been designed as the first step heading for the final designing and controlling of textured yarn′s structure and properties.It had been proved that the bulkiness of the differential shrinkage filaments air-jet textured yarn could be controlled effectually by the different filament or multi-filament linear density,as well as the air-jet texturing and differential shrinkage parameters.The overfeed and feeding method in air-texturing,the differential shrinkage rate and average shrinkage in differential shrinking could affect the bulkiness of differential shrinkage filaments air-jet textured yarn remarkably.

      This paper introduced a new idea for the purification and recovery of NMMO in the coagulation bath—the flocculation process.The results show that proper control of additive,flocculating agent,temperature,stir speed,quantity of each agent and other process parameters could effectively remove the impurities in the coagulation bath such as the solid,big molecules in the forms of undissolved colloid and semi-colloid.The sizes of flocculates are big and loose,ready to precipitate,therefore the impurity removing effect is very ideal,greatly improving the exchange ability of the ion exchange resin in the subsequent process.The resulting solution after flocculation and ion-exchanging treatment shows very good redisolving and spinning properties,facilitating the industrial recovery of NMMO.

      In ordor to weave the varied weft density fabric of which weft distribution pattern is prescribed in sections,the definition field of fabric′s weft density function is divided into continuous and discrete intervals according to the variation characteristics of weft density of fabric.On the basis,for the continuous intervals in which the weft density function is continuous in sections and may be discontinuous at some points,the equation of take-up quantities is established;the solution intervals for take-up quantities of wefts are analyzed and determined,the solution method,i.e.the bisection method of which termination criteria is small enough,is given;and the validity of the method at discontinous point is expounded.For the discrete intervals which consist of dispersed points,determination methods of tuke-up quantities for wefts at the ends of or in the interval are given.With determining the take-up quantities for wefts according to the above mentioned methed,it can be ensured that woven fabric possess the prescribed variation pattern of weft density.

      To avoid the influence bring about by the traditional temperature sensor when detecting the heat transfer on the surface of fabric,a new method using infrared camera was developed to non-contact measuring fabric surface temperature without disturbing fabric surface status.It was used in this paper to investigate the heat and moisture coupling transfer characteristics in fabrics of new regenerated fiber material—soybean protein fiber,Modal and so on.The results indicated that soybean protein fiber,Modal and their mixed fabrics had similar interaction of coupled heat and moisture transfer in textiles.Through clustering analysis of varied temperature parameters of fabrics,it indicated that theKSandΔTmaxwere right indexes to evaluate interaction of coupled heat and moisture transfer.AndKSdescribe ascended velocity of moisture heat temperature;ΔTmax is the biggest gap between dry heat temperature and moisture heat temperature of fabrics.

      To study how pretreatment factors affect the air permeability of polyester filament fabric,the pretreatment pracess of the polyester filament fabric was simulated,varying the heat-setting temperature,tension and alkali concentration,and the air permeability of the fabric with different shrinkage and weight reduction rates are measured.The relation between the shrinkage,alkali weight reduction rate and air permeability was established by regression analysis.The relation between shrinkage and air permeability is a negative non-linear correlation,and that between alkali weight reduction rate and air permeability is a positive non-linear correlation.The air permeability was predicted by multi-analysis regression and BP neural network from the shrinkage and alkali weight reduction rate,the results show that prediction error is small as to both methods,while the method of BP neural network exhibits more precise.

      The uniaxial tensile properties of 4-step 3-D braided fabric E-Glass/epoxy composites at quasi-static and high strain rates loadings have been investigated to evaluate the tensile failure mode at different strain rates.The uniaxial tensile properties at high strain rates from 800 to 2 100 s-1were tested using the split Hopkinson tension bar(SHTB) technique.Tensile properties at quasi-static strain rate were also tested and compared with those in high strain rates.The results indicate that the stress strain curves are rate sensitive,and tensile modulus,maximum tensile stress and corresponding tensile strain are also sensitive to the strain rate.The tensile modulus,maximum tensile stress of 4-step 3-D braided fabric E-Glass/epoxy composites is linearly increased with the strain rate.With increasing of the strain rate,the tensile failure of the 4-step 3-D braided fabric E-Glass/epoxy composite specimens has a tendency of transition from ductile failure to brittle failure.

      Different biaxial weft knitted fabrics were produced with glass fiber roving and polypropylene filaments and their lamina composites were fabricated by hot pressing process.The tensile properties and elongation anisotropy of the composites were experimentally investigated.By changing the linear densities of the inserted weft yarns,the influence of the fiber volume fraction on the initial modulus and breaking strength of the composites was analyzed.The breaking forms of the lamina specimens were also studied.The results have shown that there exists a big difference of the tensile properties of the composites tested along or off the inserted yarn directions,and that the initial modulus and breaking strength are proportional with the fiber volume fractions.This means that the insertion of the yarns enhances the mechanical properties of knitted structural composites.

      The VAm size was modified through adding the third monomers that were copolymerized with vinyl acetate-acryamide(VAc-AM) binary system.The monomers evaluated included acrylic acid(AA),methyl acrylate(MA) and acrylonitrile(AN).The influences of the structural units formed by above monomers on the performance of the VAm size was investigated in terms of the viscosity,adhesion-to-fibers,and film behaviors of the sizes.The result demonstrates that the significant improvement of the performance of the VAm size has been achieved by adding the third monomers.The adhesion of the VAm size to cotton fibers is strengthened by introducing AA units;the adhesion to polyester fibers is enhanced through incorporating MA units;and the adhesion to both polyester and cotton fibers is increased by means of introducing AN units.Incorporation of AN units into the VAm size is more beneficial to raising the working performance of the size.

      To research the relation between the color of colored cotton/cotton blended yarn and colored cotton′s proportion,the color of 5 kinds of blended yarns with different colored cotton′s proportion were tested using computer color-measure and color-matching system,the results show that along with the change of colored cotton′s proportion the variety of hue of blended yarns is not very obvious,lightness is decreasing and chroma is increscent.Based on the value ofK/Sof 5 samples,by curve fitting using software Origin 6.1,it is drawn that the relation between colored cotton′s proportion and the value ofK/Sis linear relationship.Then,using regression analysis,the predicted range of blended yarns with any colored cotton′s proportion is drawn.

      To promote photo-stability of cotton fiber and protect it,nano-hydroxyapatite(HAP) was used to finish the cotton fabrics functionally.According to the results of contract SEM and IR experiments,the article analyzed the process of combining cotton fiber with nano-hydroxyapatite,selected the optimum conditions: nano-hydroxyapatite was dispersed in water and adjusted pH to 12.30 with ammonia,it could be distributed on cotton fiber evenly and compactly.The experiments turned out that the finished cotton fabrics with HAP had good protection effect in TiO2photocatalysis,and its bursting strength was 24.51% higher than that without nano-hydroxyapatite at the same condition of UV damage.

      In order to achieve salt-free dyeing of cotton fabrics with reactive dyes,a water-soluble amino-terminated hyperbranched polymer(HBP-NH2) was synthesized from methyl acrylate and diethylene triamine by melt polycondensation.Cotton samples were pretreated with the aqueous solution of HBP-NH2(6 g/L) in the presence of citric acid(2 g/L) and sodium hypophosphite(3 g/L) and then dyed with reactive dyes.Results demonstrated that the pretreated cotton samples displayed markedly enhanced colour strength,and the washing fastness,rubbing fastness and levelling properties were satisfactory.It suggested that HBP-NH2can be applied in reactive dyeing of cotton fabrics as a salt-free auxiliary for various reactive dyes.

      Aiming at the shortcomings of high formaldehyde content and low soaping and crocking fastnesses of currently used pigment printing binder,by60Co-γ radiation polymerization process,the waterborne polyacrylate(PA) emulsion containing active keto groups was synthesized from acrylate monomers and diacetone acrylamide(DAAM).Then ketone-hydrazide polyurethane-acrylate(PUA) hybrid emulsions were obtained by blending the adipic dihydrazides(ADH) groups-terminated PU emulsion and the PA emulsion according to a given proportion of DAAM and ADH.The mechanical properties and water-resisting properties of PUA hybrid emulsions were studied by means of FT-IR,etc.The colour fastness and environmental protection behavior of the pigment printing binder based on PUA hybrid emulsions were tested.The results showed that the PUA hybrid emulsions provides optimum properties when the contents of DAAM are around 1.30-1.40 percent,and the pigment printing binder is an environmental-friendly product free from formaldehyde and APEO.And the properties of the printed fabrics using the binder such as soaping and crocking fastnesses are excellent,and the formaldehyde content of the printed fabrics can meet the criteria of products for babies.

      On the basis of the shielding mechanism of the electromagnetic shielding clothing,the simulation experiment was designed,and the influences of radiant frequency,radiant distance,clothing fabric,seam quality and size of needle hole on the shielding efficiency of electromagnetic shielding clothing were investigated.The notability of these factors on the clothing shielding efficiency was examined.Regarding these factors as the variables,a mathematics model of clothing shielding efficiency was set up,and the verification of stability and practicability to this model was carried out.The result indicated that the mathematics model applies to the clothing shield efficiency calculating is advisable.

      Expounding the importance of popular elements in fashion design,the paper proposed an assistant fashion design model based on case-based reasoning(CBR) and Markov prediction(MP),attempting to solve the issue of intelligent fashion design that the modern fashion enterprises are faced with.The model has combined information technology′s advantages(large capacity memory,high speed operation and detail analysis ability) with designer′s empirical subjective judgement.According to the forecast popular elements set from MP model,reasonable popular elements composition(fashion trend) was obtained through trend analysis.The fashion trend was obtained by CBR search in design case library and,design results,by designer′s modification and integration.Finally,the model was verified by practical applications in enterprise.

      In order to enrich the study of history of minority clothing culture,it analyzed the merged appearance of Nuchen′s clothing culture of Jin Dynasty from three aspects: merging of achievement of clothing technique,forming and improving of clothing system and emerging of clothing hierarchical viewpoint.Then,the interactions of clothing culture intercommunion between four forms of national costume are discussed: transaction on each other′s markets,presenting tribute and giving a gift in return,moving away to other place,war and plunder.It points out that the integrated development of Nuchen′s clothing culture has such characteristics as disequilibrium,skipping,gradually advancing and strengthening.This study will be of due significance to the modern research into clothing culture.

      A three-dimensional computational fluid dynamics model was developed to simulate the flow field inside the nozzle of air jet vortex spinning with 3-D CFD & Fluent 6.2.Flowing state,distributing of static pressure and velocity inside the nozzle of air jet vortex spinning were characterized and analyzed.Relationship between flowing state and structure of the yarn was also discussed.The research shows that compressive air through the jet orifice comes into being three-dimensional whirly airflow inside the nozzle,the tangential airflow and the arial airflow are fit for the theory of swirling airflow,the tangential velocity twists open-trail end edge fibers;the draw effect of the axial velocity to fibers may be neglected;the radial velocity makes the edge open-trail end fibers in the main nozzle begin to expand to let yarn get more wrapper fibers,static pressure distributions take on the U shape along nozzle radius,the reason of twist irregularity of air jet vortex yarn is the degree twisted at different position is different for separated edge open-trail end fibers.

      According as energy conservation principle,the formula of weft tension peak value during air-jet weaving was deduced.It points out that the way to decrease the peak value is to decrease the weft speed at weft braking.Based on this,the method of weft tension controller was introduced.It has developed a new method to controlling weft tension.The linear prediction will be used in the method.It decreases the peak value and consoles the coefficient of mean deviation of arriving time,thus leveling off the flight state of weft and improving production efficiency.It constitutes an integral weft control strategy when coupled with the existing control method of weft arriving time.

      In order to test interrelated parameters of flyer of fly frame,a new testing system was developed.A differential mechanism of hybrid driving which imitates the variation of cylinder′s diameter was introduced for the first time so as to test the changing law of press palm strength of the flyer of fly frame at different rotating speeds when winding.It includes the mechanic transmission,control and signal processing system and can realize automation of control and data collecting and processing.The experimental results show that it meets the needs of technology and design,runs steadily,operates easily,and has accurate tests.

      For improving the storage of loomage′s parameter,various data storage methods at present were analyzed and compared with each other,and a way based on USB was put forward.This article introduced the control system of loom and the hardware design of the USB module,listing the control system′s module map and the SL811HS′s schematic,expatiated the software design of the USB host system,which includes initialization of SL811HS,enumeration of USB equipment,the protocol of Mass Storage and FAT document system.This design utilizes the S3C4510B′s rich resources,also considers the characteristics of the SL811HS,and accomplishes the USB module in the control system of loom.

      In order to improve the software control method of fully automatic flat knitting machine inland,the structure and theory of flat knitting machine were analyzed,and a new-style doable software design based on the hardware(ARM & FPGA) which was already chosen was proposed.This software design is based on embedded Linux,which includes the control algorithm of taker-in roller system,driver design,knit control program design and graphical user interfaces design.Compared with congener products,the machine based on this design is more advanced,easier to be transplanted,accessible in a network and low cost.It is proved to be a doable design in practice.

      According to the characteristics of fabric printing pattern,the methods of IFS(iterated function system) random iteration algorithm which features more simple and fast,scientific and visual during programming were used in this article.While the principles of drawing IFS graphics were discussed with using random iteration algorithm,the basic methods to make IFS graphics vary by changing IFS parameters were investigated.On this basis,employing IFS graphical methods of computer,preliminary trial was performed to apply the theory of IFS random iteration algorithm to fabric pattern design and printing experiment was carried out by means of electronic printing jet.Thus,the approach to printing fabric by using the resources of IFS graphics was investigated.

      This paper addresses the main contents of research of CAPP(computer aided process planning) and the subject character and construction system of IE(industrial engineering),and points out that IE and CAPP are the outcome of the manufacturing industry and they develop as the manufacturing industry develops.Although they are different in measure,they have something in common in essence.Starting from rough analysis,it is investigated how IE reaches fine analysis step by step,and builds up its craftwork analyzing system from″product analysis→work process analysis→man-hour analysis→working movement analysis″.It shows that IE provides the process design of the garment industry with scientific thinking and research means and plays an important role in the basic construction of data environment and the design of system function of garment CAPP.

      XML is a state-of-the art technology which is utilized for integrating the information along the textile and apparel supply chain.This paper presents an XML—based quick response(QR) framework for textile and apparel supply chain.XML data sharing,data linking and the bidirectional mapping rule of XML and database are studied and XML model of quick respond system for the textile and apparel supply chain is investigated.By means of XML trans-platform information integration ability,the model improves the trans-platform mutual communication mechanism and links all the data concerning clothing fabric supply and garment design in the upstream and garment manufacturing and selling in the downstream so that the clothing fabric supplier,garment manufacturer and garment retailer can commonly share the real-time data information on the supply chain,thus shortening the lead-time and make a quick respond to the changing market.

      Based on structural equation modeling(SEM),service quality,customer satisfaction and customers′view on value that are main factors affecting customer loyalty are selected to build a model of service quality affecting customer loyalty and eight hypotheses are put forward in this paper.Demonstration research is given to check the model and hypothesis.The results show that service quality is the key factor affecting customer loyalty,followed by customers′view on value,and finally,customer satisfaction.It is proved that service quality affects customer loyalty in both direct and indirect ways,and the former is more important than the latter.Customer′s view on value affects customer loyalty only directly,while customer satisfaction affects customer loyalty only indirectly.In order to obtain higher customer loyalty of sportswear brands,providing better service is essential.

      The development of electrospinning was reviewed;the principle of electrospinning was introduced;the conventional electerospinning setup for producing randomly oriented fibers,the new setups for preparing aligned electrospun fibers,and the co-axial electrospinning fabricating nanofibers with core-shell structures were presented;the influencing factors including the viscosity,surface tension,and the density of net charges carried by the jet on morphology of electrospun fibers were discussed;the application studies of polymeric fibrous scaffolds prepared by electrospinning for tissue engineering including skin,cartilage,blood vessel,and neural tissues were enumerated.
