Grey statistics evaluation of factors influencing sewing quality

Abstract: Scientific and rational evaluation of a variety of factors which affect the sewing quality of garment is one of important issues discussed by managers of enterprises and customers.By using the grey statistics evaluation method,mathematical model is constructed to evaluate sewing quality and influencing factors including the skills of technical staffs and operators,the condition of sewing equipments and workshop environment.The results of evaluation are analyzed and the proposals for necessary adjustment of sewing workshop are presented.It can be concluded that the grey statistics evaluation provides a good evaluation method for both enterprises and customers.
