Abstract: In order to express a painting or other art works with gradual transition-grayscale effect, this paper, according to the principle of expressing jacquard silk fabric with single color, adopts a co-planer weave ---- plain weave, to preliminary design a weave model of expressing jacquard silk fabric with single color, which was structured by a series of derivative plain weaves. And, based on it, get the fabric with derivative plain weaves through jacquard fabric experiments. Then, through analyzing the pixels’ brightness in the fabric, sort the different fabrics with derivative plain weaves by the glossiness with gradual transition effect, which was caused by different degrees of brightness. After that, through choosing the useful plain weaves from the weave model, make a one to one correspondence between derivative plain weaves and varying degrees of brightness in art works like paintings. At last, the weaving experiment indicates, that the expression of jacquard silk fabric based on the derivative plain weaves model, can produce a special texture effect, and also a fire-new sense of vision in the jacquard silk fabric.
