Abstract: In this paper，the　properties and development trends of the different kinds of waterproof and moisture permeable fabrics were analyzed．First the waterproof and moisture permeable principles by porousness and hydrophilic groups were expatiated，and the waterproof and moisture permeable fabrics of different kinds of process and film conformation and properties were sum up. Then the properties of waterproof and moisture permeable fabrics of different kinds of waterproof and moisture permeable principles and of high polymer and of process were analyzed and discussed. It is showed that the development trends of waterproof and moisture permeable fabrics to the environmental protection and intelligence and multifunction. The results are for reference to choice and application of waterproof and moisture permeable fabrics．
