Abstract: Abstract: Based on the design premise of mask-making technology particularity in traditional blue calico pattern design, in art design, it makes the blue calico pattern design innovation the breakthrough and take the usage of modern digital technology and traditional blue calico pattern design as innovation combination points. Analyse the relationship between blue calico and connected folk arts and crafts through specific examples of innovation, draw a conclusion that they can getting innovation combination design perfectly and successfully under different technological condition requirements and further proved the inheritance and innovation research model is the inevitable road of survival and development of traditional culture.
