Abstract: Through different scutching process machine picked cotton fiber performance comparison. The research is based on saw type of ginned cotton cleaning out a comparative study of raw cotton. The paper is compared to and analysised the indexes of the cotton fibre by HVI,such as length 、strength、colour、dirt percentage and so on. The results prove that: scutching process is beneficial to the improvement of raw cotton fiber external indicator, so that smooth supple, bright color; but the fiber intrinsic metrics are more serious damage, short fiber content increased, is not conducive to the spinning. Based on the saw type lint cotton cleaning machine cotton-picking performance analysis, suggest enterprises to actively take effective measures to control, so as to improve the performance of the machine picked cotton yarns.
