The flame-retardant polyester was synthesized by TPA, EG and 2-carboxy ethyl phenyl phosphinic acid glycol ester zinc salt (CEPPA-Zn). Polycondensation reaction time is shortened and condensation polymerization temperature is reduced due to the flame retardant agent exist. The thermal behaviors were investigated by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), and shown that flame retardant polyester glass transition temperature, crystallization temperature and melting point were increased, and thermal stability of the samples was enhancement because of the presence of flame retardant, and the quantity of carbon residue was increased due to the Zn ionic. The flame retardant properties of the resulting copolyesters were characterized by limiting oxygen index(LOI) test and it was shown that the copolyesters had good inherent flame retardancy, and the LOI value raised to 36.7 when the flame retardant content reached 7 %.

In order to prepare artificial hair implantation which has good cytocompatibility, polypyrrole/polyester monofilaments were prepared by liquid in-situ polymerization and its performance was tested. Scanning electron microscope、FTIR spectroscopy and X ray photoelectron spectroscopy methods were used to investigate the existence of polypyrrole and analyze the influence of alkali treatment on the polypyrrole content. Meanwhile, the mechanical properties of monofilaments after alkali treatment and polypyrrole polymerization were analyzed. The cytocompatibility was tested. The results show that polypyrrole can be formed on the surface of polyester monofilaments whether for treatment with alkali or not, but polypyrrole content is higher on the alkali-treatment monofilament. The mechanical properties of monofilament have been decreased after alkali treatment, but they were increased after polypyrrole polymerization. Furthermore, the cytocompatibility of polyester monofilaments has been improved after pyrrole polymerization..

The production of carboxymethylcellulose (CMC) with a substitution degree of up to 1.72 was achieved through a new approach of lowering crystallinity and activating pretreatment. The experiments sought to examine the effects of water amount, reaction temperature, reaction time and NaOH concentration on the degree of substitution (DS) of CMC, as well as test the performance of the product through deep analysis of the alkali concentration conducted by SEM and XRD. The results showed that the appropriate amount of water used should be 8~10mL, the proper reaction temperature should be 65~75℃, and the recommended reaction time should be 3h. The experiments also demonstrated that the cellulose would swell after the treatment of high concentration of alkali: higher concentration of NaOH would lead to more swollen cellulose, lower degree of crystallinity, more active reaction as well as higher DS. Thus, the optimal concentration of the alkali should be 500~600 g/L. Moreover, CMC with a solid content of 3% had a viscosity of as high as 35000 mPa?s when the viscosimeter was running at 30r/min. The viscosity of such CMC solution varied little when the pH was 6~10, and the solution appeared to have better stability under different pH conditions and in hard water. After this CMC solution was preserved for two weeks, its viscosity remained almost the same, which indicated its stability during storage.

In order to analyze two basic acoustic characteristic parameters of activated carbon fiber materials: propagation constant and characteristic impedance, propagation theory of acoustic waves in activated carbon fiber materials is used for reference and equations of motion and continuity are used for deduction, thus theoretical model of propagation constant and characteristic impedance is established. Surface acoustic impedance is tested with an impedance tube when activated carbon fiber materials are put in the 250-2500Hz frequencies acoustic range, then propagation constant and characteristic impedance of activated carbon fiber materials are defined by the method of double thickness. Statistics of two acoustic characteristic parameters in theory and trial are compared and contrasted, which shows that the theoretical model has its feasibility and can provide reference for developing and designing the activated carbon fiber materials with acoustic characteristics.

In view of the fact that the theory of warp knitted broché Jacquard is rarely studied, here and abroad, and its technology bottleneck in application field, this paper probes into the characteristics and basic principle of broché jacquard fabric. Based on the content, an in-depth analysis and investigation on the needle selection principles, and movement rules of crochet hook are undertaken. According to the statistics from experimental trials on the machine, the displacement curve model of crochet hook, corresponding to the space and time axis, is built, and thus its motion characteristics are more deeply and rationally illustrated. In addition, the graphical model of single-yarn selection is also built which explains in detail the concrete realization process of single-yarn selection and its implementation route. Lastly, the structure of broché jacquard fall-plate lapping is analyzed, meanwhile, a suitable mode for broché jacquard is equally figured out. Moreover, after a comparison in formation theories with the embossed pattern and slap-up cutting pattern, the broché pattern demonstrates its own comprehensive advantages in terms of production and performance. The above research on principles about warp knitted broché Jacquard could provide a reference to the design of broché jacquard machine as well as its products.

The measure method for sizing percentage is not real time method in practical production process. Therefore the yarn quality can not be guaranteed. A new modeling method is proposed for sizing percentage soft sensor real time based on multiple SVR fusion by bagging. Firstly, the main factors that influence sizing percentage are obtained by analyzing the sizing process. Then the basic SVR soft sensor models are built by different kernel functions, different loss functions and different parameters. Finally, the different basic SVR models are integrated by bagging. The basic SVR can learn from each other by this way. The new sizing percentage soft sensor model is established. The practical production data are used to test the new soft sensor model. And the traditional soft senor methods based on single BP neural network and single SVR are used to compare. The results demonstrate that the new method has the best performance. The accuracy of new soft sensor can meet the needs of practical production.

In order to investigate the presence of non-thermal effect in the microwave irradiation heating hemp degumming process, two hemp degumming methods, microwave heating and water bath heating are compared within different times and different temperature conditions. The capable hemp residual gum content was used to determine the non- thermal effect during the heat processing. The results revealed that the capable hemp residual gum content of microwave heating was lower than that of water bath heating. With the increasing heating time and the heating temperature, the residual gum rate gap first increase and followed by the decreasing trend which indicated that in the microwave heating processing, there was some non-thermal effect except thermal effect with water bath heating.

For study the relation between grafted starch physicochemical properties and its sizing performance, grafted cationic starch (GCS) with different graft ratios (GR) were prepared by grafting cationic starch with acrylamide, β-hydroxyethyl methacrylate and n-butyl acrylate using microwave-assisted method, the grafted copolymer was characterized by FT-IR and XRD. The physicochemical characteristics of GCS were studied, as well as its sizing performances. Results showed that, within a certain range of GR, the physicochemical properties of GCS improved, including enhanced hydration capacity and rheological propertiy, improved anti-retrogradation and paste clarity, but an excessive high graft level could deteriorate the physicochemical properties of starch. Sizing performance of GCS increased with the increase of GR, the tensile strength, elongation at break and abrasion resistance reached an optimum value when GR was 13.58%, and then decreased with further growth of graft level. The research results also indicated that the improved physicochemical properties of grafted starch were closely related to its sizing performance improvements.

In order to improve the desizing effect and environmental protection, the polyacrylate size agent was removed from PET fabrics by the combination of He/O2 atmospheric pressure plasma jet (APPJ) and conventional wet desizing. The influence of plasma treatment time on desizing effect and the influence of plasma pre-treatment on wet desizing effect were studied. And the influence of plasma treatment on the chemical components on the size film surface was also studied. The results of XPS analysis indicate that oxygen-based functional groups increased for the plasma treated polyacrylate sized fabrics, which greatly improve the hydrophilcity of polyacrylate film. The percent desizing ratio (PDR) results show that with an increase of plasma treatment time, the desizing effect is significantly improved. More than 99% PDR was achieved after 65s plasma treatment followed by a 5min NaHCO3 desizing. Compared to conventional wet desizing, plasma treatment could significantly reduce desizing time.

In order to understand deeply the adsorption of chtechins on various kinds of fabric and compare their mordanting effects, the adsorption percentage of six types of catechins on silk, cotton and nylon fabric were measured respectively by using the high-performance liquid chromatography under two different initial concentration of tea polyphenol, and the mordanting was carried on with ferrous sulfate, copper sulfate and potassium aluminum sulfate as mordants. The results indicated that there was a greater difference in adsorption capacity of tea polyphenols onto Silk, cotton, nylon fabric. Nylon has the maximum adsorption capacity, followed by silk and cotton fabrics for the minimum. The ester catechins showed higher adsorption on nylon and silk, while the cotton fabric adsorb preferentially non-ester catechins. For each of the three fibers, the adsorption capacity of EGCG was the maximum among the six types of catechins. The effect of three mordants was quite different with each other. Under the same processing conditions, the ferrous salt showed a dark color, copper salt gave a light color, and alum was the most pale. Silk had a similar hue with cotton for every mordant, but difference with nylon. In comparison, the color of nylon was lighter than ether that of silk or cotton fabric.

Tyrosinases have the potential abilities of catalytic oxidation of tyrosine residues. In this paper, the efficacy of the enzymatic grafting of lactoferrin onto silk fibroin with tyrosinase was investigated. The changes of tyrosine content in silk fibroin and the relative viscosity of silk fibroin solution were also evaluated. The results indicated that the content of tyrosine in silk fibroin decreased after incubating with tyrosinase. For the sample combinedly treated with tyrosinase and lactoferrin, the tensile strength of the silk fabric and its relative viscosity of fibroin solution seemed high as compared to that of the sample treated with loctoferrin alone, which verified the occurrence of the enzymatic grafting reaction on silk surface. Further, the loctoferrin might simultaneously adsorb onto fibroin during the mentioned enzymatic grafting, the color depth of the silk fabric treated with tyrosinases/loctoferrin was similar to that treated with loctoferrin alone.

The shrinkage of fire protective clothing may affect its thermal performance and block body movement. In this paper, by using an instrumented mannequin, flame-test for complete garments is applied to simulate the fire situation. Seals marked on the garment are used to measure the shrinkage distribution of garments during flash fire exposure. The reasons for the shrinkage and its factors are studied. The relationship between shrinkage and the burn injury of manikin skin is preliminarily analyzed. Results show that the sleeves, trousers and the back of the clothing shrink significantly. The variation of the shrinkage results from the heat flux, air gap and other factors. The shrinkage extent is influenced by wearing posture, fire duration, construction size, and fabric density. As a whole, burn injury will be more serious where the shrink is more significant.

Lapel collar chiefly consists of collar band, lapel, collar edge line, lap allowance, initial point of lapel roll line, final point of lapel roll line and so on. All these elements influence each other, and jointly influence the shape of lapel. Among these influential factors, lapel tolerance os one of the most important parameters in lapel collar construction. For this reason, based on the basic pattern of Japanese culture style women dress, lapel collars are drawn by direct drawing method, varying the label width and collar band width. After selecting different lap allowances, top-stitching of lapel outer edge and the final point of lapel roll line on the mannequin, the appropriate latel tolerance is determinde by cutting expansion method. The sample is removed from the mannequin and the numerical value of the lapel toleerances (a total of 200 samples ) measured, and relevance analysis, regression analysis, etc. are preformed by means of SPSS statistics software. A mathematical model of lapel collar tolerance for construction design is established. This research provides a reference for template-making of lapel by the professional technical personnel of costume, so as to facilitate the need of intelligent CAD pattern design.

In order to realize automatic and intelligent loop linking, simulating the key process of web alignment in the manual operations and establishing one software system of controlling alignment based on computation vision is proceeded. Three creative points occupy in that software system: (1) Using line detection to avoid traditional stereo visual computation framework, as simplified system designing complexity; (2) Unorderly lines filter guaranteeing the extraction of parallel lines; (3) Number counter based on clustering recognizing the precise number of graduation marks. The system runs online with recognition of web alignment in two sides wisely, proving the feasibility of visual-control based linking machine.

The stopping mark is common fabric defects in warp knitting production, and it is considered that the mark is caused by tension of warp yarn when turning on and/or turning off the machine. In this paper, the motion curve of the main shaft of the machine and the beam motor of electronic let-off system was tested. The beam motor lags behind main shaft is tested in warp beam let-off system when turning on and/or turning off the machine. The lag time is reduced when turning on the machine, and the lag angle gradually increases with the main shaft speed increasing; Meanwhile the lag time changes a little when turning off the machine, and the lag angle is reduced. That caused the tension change “normal→the loose and tight changing in the state of partial loose→the loose and tight changing in the state of partial tight→normal” of warp yarn. In this paper, it is discussed that main factors which affect the lag performance of warp let-off system are those, such as main controller of let-off system, the software of control, the control mode of servo system, the servo performance, servo parameter setting, as well as main shaft encoder.

Textile printing pattern image segmentation is a very important process in textile printing and dyeing process, in order to improve the accuracy, this paper adopts MRMRF algorithm realized texture segmentation. At first a preceding process is taken in this algorithm. Then , the image is decomposed by wavelet pyramids. In the algorithm, the segmentation on each scale can make full use of information on all scales. the relationship among each wavelet coefficient can reflect the feature of each pixel location, and the interaction of neighborhoods can reflect the regional of image segmentation. Both of these two fields constraint each other by product of joint probability, and act on the segmentation process together. The image segmentation procedure is sequentially executed from the coarsest resolution scale to the finest resolution scale, and segmentation result of the coarser scale is directly projected on the nearest finer resolution scale as its initial segmentation. The segmentation result on the finest resolution is used as the final result of the algorithm.

In the three dimensional simulation of woven fabric, in order to fast realize parametric simulation of fabric with different kinds of weaves, according to the yarns interweave features, a method which the warp and weft yarn were divided into eight group elements respectively was proposed for the modular construction of fabric weave. Fabric weaves can be realized by the construction of the warp and weft yarn group element matrices. The combinations of “0” and “1” were used to unique represent the group elements of the warp and weft yarns. By the row direction “ ” operation of weave matrix (Boolean matrix) and the column direction “ ” operation after the negative transformation of Boolean matrix, the mapping relationships between the weft or the warp yarn group element matrix and the Boolean matrix were established. Designing a parametric input interface, programming and simulating by MatLab software, it is shown that this method can fast construct fabric weaves and realize parametric simulations of woven fabric under different three dimensional models.

By taking advantage of two industry planar mirrors set in front of the CCD camera with 120-degree angle, CCD cameras and standard line lasers are required only in one side. With every shot, three different images fromthree visual directions are got. Two of them are equivalent to two images obtained by two virtual cameras, and based on the triangulation principle, three-dimensional human point cloud data cam be acquired. Selection of scanning system components and arrangement method are introduced. A cylindrical calibration target divided into different regions whose size has the nonlinear relationship is designed. The internal and external parameters of the system and the overall system are calibrated. The experimental error of the system is calculated by using the Euclidean distance method. Scanning experiment demonstrates that the system is effective, feasible and reliable.

The paper reviews the research progress about electromagnetic textiles. The preparing and properties and applications of fibers and plane fabrics and multi-layer plane fabrics and space structural fabrics with electromagnetic properties are presented. The application and characters of metalized fabrics made of inherently conductive polymer or metal or metalized fibers are synthesized. The problems in developing plane electromagnetic shielding fabrics are pointed. The electromagnetic fabrics should trend to multilayer composite fabrics and space structural fabrics. The period metal structural unit or period structure including special electromagnetic characters should be applied.

Protective clothing can not only protect workers from environmental threats, but also bring some side effects, such as motion-opposing. Ergonomic function evaluation is a significant part of performance assessments for protective clothing. By reviewing the domestic and foreign research status of ergonomic test and evaluation for protective clothing, this paper made a definition for the assessment of ergonomic performance of protective clothing. Based on this, the range of motion and mobility of performance were discussed as parts of the evaluation content. This paper also explored ergonomic test and evaluation methods of protective clothing from subjective investigation, objective testing and numerical simulation. It was proposed to establish an evaluation system for the ergonomics of protective clothing, and study the ergonomic assessment of protective clothing in the virtual reality simulation system.
