Abstract: For imparting the ultra-fine fiber spunlaced nonwoven synthetic leather substrates better fragrant properties, complex coacervation method was employed for preparing microcapsules with oily essence as core materials and gelatin and sodium alginate as shell.Through adjusting raw materials dosage and proper control of reaction conditions,a forest fragrant type of microcapsules was made.Spunlaced nonwoven synthetic leather substrates were then finished by the microcapsule and the optimal process conditions were determined by experiments.Mechanical properties of both treated and untreated spunlaced nonwoven synthetic leather substrates were tested, and the fragrant remaining time was tested subjectively. The results show that the treated spunlaced nonwoven synthetic leather substrates have higher tensile, better tearing and bursting strength, and long lasting fragrance, but its softness goes down a little bit.
