Deterioration of noniron performance of BTCA finished fabric in wash process

Abstract: Durability of noniron performance of noniron fabric is a long standing problem.The paper investigates the deteriorative process,mechanism and rule of noniron performance of noniron fabric in wash process by measuring and analyzing the wrinkle recovery angle of the fabric.The findings indicate that as to formaldehyde-free BCTA finished noniron cotton fabric,increasing laundering times decreases the noniron performance remarkably;however,after dry-cleaning,the fabric exhibits smaller change in wrinkle recovery angle and retains better noniron performance.
