Spider silk has attracted wide attentions of scholars and researchers due to its excellent mechanical properties and good biocompatibility in recently years. The regenerated Argiope bruennichi silk (scaffolding silk, egg case inner cover silk, egg case outer cover silk ) was oreoared by electrospinning on the basis of studying the solubility of Argiope bruennichi silk in 1,1,1,3,3,3,-hexafluoro-2-propanol (HFIP). The morphology, molecular conformations, crystallinity and thermal property of the natural Argiope bruennichi silk and the electrospun Argiope bruennichi silk were compared. The results indicated the electrospun rigenerated Argiope bruennichi silk was flat ribbon with the bandwidth (751±196) nm and a diameter of egg case inner cover silk and egg case outer cover silk (141±46) nm and (105±37) nm, respectively. The XRD and TG-DTA analysis showed that the crystal structure of electuospun Argiope bruennichi silk has changed from silkⅡ to silkⅠ, and the crystallinity and main thermal decomposition temperature decreased.

According to cotton-flax blended fabric, a new automatic identification method of microscopic fiber images in the longitudinal view in which the length of fiber is about 0.5 mm is introduced in this paper. In fiber detection section, the background of fiber image is removed first, then fiber areas are detected by a method combining morphological close computing and background regional growth method, which filters glass scratches and other sundries well. Based on the region image, binary image and thinning image of binary image in fiber skeleton vertical direction and their vertical integral projections, the coefficient variation (CV) and mean for each of the projections are obtained. Such six statistics parameters are used as the characteristic parameters for identification of cotton fibers and flax fibers. The training set is used to train the least square support vector machine classifier. The experiments for the testing set showed that the mean identification accuracy of cotton and flax fiber is 93.3%.

The aim of this manuscript is to improve the interface compatibility between hydroxyapatite and polyacrylonitrile in the composite. Surface modification of hydroxyapatite using acrylic acid is performed. The composite film is prepared via phografting modified hydroxyapatite containing unsaturated double bond onto polyacrylonitrile. The modified hydroxyapatite and modified hydroxyapatite/polyacrylonitrile comoposite films are characterized using Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy and differential thermal analysis. The appearance of -C=O vibration peak at 1631cm-1 indicates the modification of hydroxyapatite via esterification of hydroxyapatite and acrylic acid. Well-dispersed nanoscale modified hydroxyapatite particles are embedded in polyacrylonitrile substrate. The tensile strength of polyacrylonitrile/modified hydroxyapatite photografting composite film is larger than blended one. The adsorption amount of photografting composite film is slightly less than blended one.

A three-dimensional computational fluid dynamics model is developed by software Fluent. The flow structure inside the spinning nozzle of the vortex spinning is simulated with the numbers and orientations of inlet orifices, the gaps between the spinning chamber and the hollow spindle, and the strength of the negative pressure on the outlet of the gap. The relationship between the flowing state and the structure of the vortex spun yarn is also discussed. The results show that the vortex strength and uniformity determined by the numbers and orientations of inlet jet orifices, and the gaps between the spinning nozzle and the hollow spindle. Less angle and gaps lead to stronger vortex and more inlet jet orifices lead more vortex uniformity. The strength of the negative pressure determines the flow axial speed, and which affects the properties of the spun yarn.

Natural pigment extracted from phytolacca was applied to wool fabric. The effect of dye bath pH, dyeing temperature and the amount of pigment were analyzed. The adsorption mechanism of phytolacca pigment on wool fabric and fastness of dyed fabrics were also investigated. The results showed that K/S value of dyed wool fabric showed improvement with the increasing amount of phytolacca pigment. When the amount of pigment was more than 6%, K/S values almost remained the same. The K/S values decreased with the increasing of dye bath pH values. When pH was less than 3.5, the colour strength values were larger; when pH was higher than 4.5, the rate of pigment uptake was very low. It was found that while dyeing temperature was below 60 ℃, the color of dyed fabric was rose red, the dyed fabric was yellow when dyeing temperature exceeded 60 ℃. The washing fastmess of fabric dyed in low temperature was lower and was improved in high dyeing temperature.

In garment colors matching the main difficulties include the combination of high dimensions, the exponential growth of the knowledge explosion, the incompleteness of knowledge, ambiguity, and database query methods difficult. So a new model of quantum bits is proposed to express the relationship between a variety of colors with the quantum Grover algorithm using the colors matching search. The results show that the model is fast, simple, scalable and robust applications.

Referring to the needs fabric patterns preserve traditional national styles, digital design of Uygur carpet patterns are taken as an example. This paper puts forward a CAD-scheme of the computer-aided design technology of textile patterns, and illustrates three important stages: First, by using template matching algorithm to extract the pattern elements in the same category, a different types of gene databases are picked-up and created. Second, these skills of path decoration and paint preset are implemented carpet patterns design based on PhotoShop. Third, the techniques are combined to form synthesizer of carpet design. The proposed method is closely keeping the national style of design and carried through with typical Uygur carpet.

Superhydrophobic surfaces with unique water-repellent and self-cleaning properties have attracted signi?cant attention over the last decades. The practical applications of superhydrophobic surfaces depend on their matrix. Fibrous superhydrophobic surfaces have recently received much interest owing to their simple fabrication, the ease of raw materials availability, potential large-scale production by industrial techniques, and practical applications in many areas. Approaches to fiber-based superhydrophobic surfaces are described in this review, including layer-by-layer assembly, sol–gel processing, hydrothermal synthesis, coating with nanoparticle composites, and chemical vapor deposition etc. Multifunctionalization and future trends in superhydrophobic surfaces are envisioned.
